Day 3 Feb 28-Brooklyn Pratt Institute | BF+DA - Sustainable Job Creation Conference 1pm

This event ROCKS! Awesome program on NextGen Innovations in Job Creation. Topics to cover: sustainable manufacturing, green job skills, re-entry programs, food prep training and opportunity. Innovations to combat chronic un and under-employment, homelessness, recidivism. Catering by DriveChangeNY - food truck founded in 2014 for formerly incarcerated young men. BF+DA fabulous new 24,000sf accelerator in Brooklyn's Pfizer Building.

Day 4 March 1-Staten Island Makerspace - Affordable Housing 1pm

Equitable development, affordable housiing solutions with community leaders, artists, residents, Real Estate developers, and local residents. One of the last bastions of urban development ripe for reform. lite snacks and artist entrepreneur pop up exhibits. 50% of net proceeds support the Makerspace and SI artist entrepreneurs.

Day 5 March 6-Bronx Fordham B School-Small Business Growth 1pm

The Bronx is booming and so is small business development in the poorest congressional district in the US. Tools, support and innovation for small business credit, capital, economic growth from startups to sustainable. Featuring Fordham Business School, Fordham Foundry, Bronx Business Incubator, Local tech preneurs, entrepreneurs, small biz owners, borough and community leaders. Reception to follow at the Bronx Beer Hall. Ticket price includes small business startup workshop and a local beer at the reception.

Day 6 March 7-Queens QNS Collective - Healthcare Innovation & Food Fair 7pm

Yummy local food fair offerings and the latest in healthcare innovation from Weill Cornell, Columbia University, Harlem Bioscience. Plus "how to do yoga without getting up"- workshop with Yanti Amos, owner of Upper East Side Earth Yoga. Easy location from F train.

Day 7 March 8-Education Innovation- Real Impact-CCNY-Harlem 1pm

Half day conference from 1-4:45pm. Workshops, exhibits, and innovations in education. Local food reception included from 4:45-5:45pm. Startup social innovation workshop: Turning Straw into Gold.
